Although it works better if you can get a group of both men and women together, the male characters from Friends still make a fun Halloween costume. |

The show was and still is so massively popular that it is unlikely you will run into anyone who hasn't seen the program. However, given that each of the characters was better known for their personalities than their wardrobes, you will probably have to accentuate their quirks or emphasize certain aspects of their costumes in order to pull off a recognizable imitation. |

Ross. He was a paleontologist, but he never really dressed the part, so it's a safer bet to focus on his sensitive-guy sweaters and adopt a sort of a ‘friendly university professor' ensemble.

Chandler. He had the office job, so he was frequently seen in business-like attire: suit, dress shirt and tie. You can also throw in the vest he often wore in publicity shots for the show.

Joey. The actor, you can either choose to portray him in a black turtleneck of maybe a white lab coat to represent his most successful role as a doctor when he finally got his big break.

If all else fails, you can always print out the faces of each of these characters, glue them to some cardboard and wear them as masks. Extra points for walking into the room carrying a ghetto blaster blaring ‘I'll Be There For You'.
